There is accumulating evidence that thioredoxin (TRX) plays a crucial role in intracellular
and extracellular various biological functions including signal transduction and
cytoprotection. 1 TRX is induced by various oxidative stresses including viral infection and
translocated from the cytoplasm into the nucleus on oxidative stress. In the nucleus, TRX
