Leukotrienes, the lipid inflammatory products derived from arachidonic acid, are involved in
the pathogenesis of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases and reactive airway disease in
sickle cell disease. Placenta growth factor (PlGF), elaborated from erythroid cells, increased
