Flow cytometric identification of murine neutrophils and monocytes

E Lagasse, IL Weissman - Journal of immunological methods, 1996 - Elsevier
Flow cytometry and cell sorting have been employed in order to identify and purify murine
neutrophils and monocytes. Using a combination of antibodies, we were able to distinguish
between these two subsets of myeloid cells. The method described in this paper is simple to
perform and can be applied to characterize myeloid cells from blood, spleen, bone marrow
and after an induced inflammation.
