A kindred is presented in which an adolescent female and a mother are affected with
profound hearing loss and generalized lentigines. This combination of lesions comprises a
distinct syndrome probably inherited as a dominant trait and appears to be different from
other syndromes involving deafness and pigmentary lesions.
