Here, we summarize the biochemical and genomic properties of SWI/SNF complex variants and the potential for increased regulatory control of innate immune transcriptional programs in light of such biochemical diversity. Finally, we review the development of SWI/SNF complex chemical inhibitors and degraders that could be used to modulate immune responses.
